ZEI still employs MDL
To face the challenges of the upcoming school year, ZEI has chosen to conduct Modular Distance Learning as its learning continuity modality.
ZEI's Distance Learning

In compliance with DepEd Order no. 013 s. 2020 and no. 017 s. 2020, ZEI hereby restates its continued intention to implement Modular Distance Learning (MDL) for school year 2021-2022.
In consideration with our stakeholders (students, parents, community and teachers), we have determined that the ideal modality of learning for ZEI would be Modular Distance Learning (and upon lifting of restrictions, Blended Learning). For the first one or two quarters, the school shall employ full distance learning using Self-learning Modules (SLMs). The school plans to transition to blending learning approach subject to authority approval. We shall implement a modified shifting of classes (MSC) technique to achieve 20 students to a class size. The rest of the days will be allocated for MDL. F2F classes will be characterized by strict social distancing and heightened hygiene measures.

Precautionary Efforts against COVID-19
​
With the small but steady rise of COVID-19 cases in the Province of Pangasinan, ZEI has put forth and enacted a School Plan for Health Compliance in accordance to IATF and DOH standards. Entrance to the campus grounds is subject to thermal scans, and the school employs a strict "No Mask, No Entry" policy. We ensure to provide a safe working space for our teachers, and a sanitized environment for parent and visitors. No students are allowed in accordance to quarantine guidelines on minors. The school has gone over and beyond the minimum health requirements of DepEd with a successful SY 2021-2022 in mind.

ZEI Holds its 2nd Virtual Graduation & Moving-up Ceremonies
​
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the school has conducted its graduation and moving-up rites online. The Modified General Community Quarantine status of the Province of Pangasinan has prohibited mass gatherings. This restriction necessitated the school to be creative and resourceful in giving our graduates and completers due recognition. The health crisis in the country has cut the school year short, but we still commend our students and congratulate them on a job well done in the past academic year. We recognize the efforts and perseverance of all the students despite the challenges of SY 2020-2021.
To our graduates, your hard-work and determination will go a long way in your future endeavors. Your ZEI family is proud of you and will always be a home to welcome you. Continue to inspire and leave no stone unturned as you achieve your goals, dreams, and aspirations! Godspeed.
